Scarecrow by Jan Farring

Mr. Scarecrow

Scarecrows are always SO fun and I honestly have admired many, but never made one myself.  So I tried my hand at punch art today!!

I am definitely NOT an expert at punch art - guess I just don't have the imagination, but I think he turned out quite cute!!  I have made up a "punch art" picture of what punches to use - he's very easy to put together and won't the "kids" love the candy?

You can order the cellophane bags now through Stampin' Up - check them out on page 11 of the Holiday Mini.  They are 1" x 8" and you get 50 in a bag for only $2.50.
Here are a few more treat bags I made up for the club meeting

For these I used Batty For You Stamp Set (116576, page 26 of the 2011-2012 Idea Book and Catalog)
I first filled the bags.

Then I cut a piece of card stock 1 3/8" x 2 3/4" - I scored that in half and stapled the top of the bag inside.  I then added a piece of 1/8" Black Taffeta Ribbon (119261, page 195) and tied it around.  I then stamped the image and punched it out with the Postage Stamp Punch (122344, page 212).  I added that to a piece of Old Olive which was punched out with the 1 1/4" Square Punch (119865, page 212).
